About Time Rental Equipment
Serving Rapid City and Western South Dakota, Time Equipment Rental and Sales has been providing customers with courteous and attentive service for more than 35 years.
When Time Tool and Equipment Rental opened in 1972, business owner Ken Swaney had one goal in mind: to provide Rapid City with dependable, well maintained rental equipment matched with excellent customer service.
In the mid 1980's, the full service rental store was expanded to include the sale of pickup toppers, running boards and other accessories to meet the needs of numerous rental customers that drove trucks. At that time, we became Time Equipment Rental and Sales.
A major expansion was completed in 2000 to both our facility and yard as part of an on-going effort to better serve customer's needs. In the last few years, we have greatly expanded our party and event rental services, in addition to a larger variety of rental equipment.
Throughout all the years and changes, our mission continues to include:
